A section of road has been closed after a lorry overturned.

The accident happened at 9.50am today on the A260 at Selsted between Hawkinge and Barham.

Kent Police say the driver suffered a head injury was taken to hospital by ambulance.

His condition is not thought to be life threatening.

The road is closed this afternoon while a lorry is recovered and a diversion is in place.

Kent Police confirmed the road reopened at 3.45pm.
