Campaigners fighting to improve services at Folkestone’s Royal Victoria Hospital for Shepway residents will be meeting in public next week.
Shepway’s WI branches are hosting the meeting, which also be attended by NHS bosses, at St Mary’s Bay village hall in Jefferstone Lane.
Members of the NHS South Kent Coast Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) which is responsible for planning and organising services at the RVH are due to attend.
The meeting will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 27.
They are expected to explain what plans are in place for healthcare services on Romney Marsh and what facilities are in place at RVH.
The campaign for improved services at the hospital launched last summer and a petition calling on the NHS to provide more clinics at the site has gathered thousands of signatures.
The petition is due to run until the end of March when the WI and the Folkestone & Hythe Express will submit the petition formally.
NHS members will be taking questions and any questions which are not answered during the session can be submitted for a written answer.
Comments will also be taken about services currently in place.
