Detectives investigating the stabbing of a man in Folkestone have made a second arrest.
A 44-year-old man was taken into custody on Saturday on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The arrest relates to an incident in Biggins Wood Road, shortly after 4.50pm on Wednesday June 13.
He has since been released pending further enquiries by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
The stabbing victim, a man in his 20s, is now recovering at home but is still being treated for his injuries.
George Mee, 20, of Cromwell Park Place, Folkestone, has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary in connection with the incident.
He is next due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday October 26.
