A woman has been sexually assaulted in a bar.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who might know anything about the attack, which took place in the ladies’ toilets at the Stripes Club in Folkestone last Tuesday night.

The Stripes Club is based at Folkestone Invicta’s Cheriton Road football ground and the attack is thought to have taken place between 7.30pm-8.30pm.

“I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious during the time frame of the incident to come forward,” said DS Tristan Stevens.
