Kmfm has given one Kent listener the best start to their weekend with £1,000, cash.

Allan Bryant from Cheriton entered to win the competition, 'Thousand Pound Friday', where listeners text to win the cash jackpot which is delivered to their home the same day.

The kmfm Street Team turned up at Allan's house to give him his money. He was shocked when he received the call during kmfm Drivetime.

After being on air, Allan said his work colleague still does not believe he has won the money.

Allan said he has not been on a holiday for ages, and plans to use the money to go abroad to Cyprus.

kmfm's Thousand Pound Friday returns next Friday from 8am.
