Work to remove sections of a collapsed wall at a seaside hotel is continuing this weekend.
Two people were injured on Monday when part of the Grand Burstin in Folkestone fell into the street below while a number of coach parties were arriving.
Scaffolding has been erected around the base of the damaged wall and further parts of the structure, including the hotel sign, have now been taken down.
The road outside the hotel was closed for around 24 hours to allow the clean up to take place.
Debris from the damaged wall had been left strewn in the street around the Just Go! Holidays coach which bore the brunt of the fall.
A local ward councillor told KentOnline she believed it was lucky that no one was killed by the falling render which crashed down into the road while guests were arriving.
Cllr Mary Lawes, who represents the harbour ward on Folkestone Town Council, hopes the owner of the hotel - Britannia Hotels - will now invest in more effective up-keep of the building.
"Somebody could have been killed last night," she said.
"That amount coming straight down, somebody could have been killed.
"The maintenance seriously needs to improve. It needs to get its act together for maintenance, because they don't maintain it on the outside.
"The buildings are in a bad way."
Britannia Hotels has recently been rated worst in the UK for the tenth year running.
The owners of the Grand Burstin earned the unwanted accolade of a decade-long run propping up the table in the annual Which? consumer survey.
