A new diner is set to bring "the taste of America" to Folkestone next week.
Lily's American Diner will be opening at 71 Sandgate Road on Tuesday.
The retro 50s American-themed diner will feature 40 seats, an open kitchen and local produce.
Folkestone-based property developer New Group Solutions have headed the project, which will see the diner replace the former Triangles Cafe on the site.
Company director Neil Green, whose daughter inspired the name of the diner, said: "The scope was to design an authentic retro 50s American theme diner.
"We have captured this look with chequered flooring, red leather seating booths and stylish decor.
“We want it to be a welcoming, family friendly diner where people can come in, have something delicious to eat and enjoy a drink, in a relaxed and comfortable setting"
“Lily's Diner will offer American-style waffles and pancakes as well as all day fry-ups for those who want it.
"We’ll have light lunches and main meals including hot dogs, burgers, ribs and more.
"Every effort has been made to make sure our guests have a true American diner experience, we offer great dishes and are looking forward to treating Folkestone to a real taste of America.
"After months of careful planning for the opening, we can’t wait to welcome guests to Lily's Diner, Folkestone".
The opening ceremony will start at midday on Tuesday.
