A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a gym user returned to find cash and car keys missing from his locker.
The incident at the Folkestone Sports Centre between 1.05pm and 2.30pm on Monday (April 7) was reported by the gym user, a man from Hythe, who had placed his belongings in the locker when he went to use the gym.
Staff found the locker had been broken into and the victim discovered that cash and car keys had been stolen.
The car had been searched but it appears nothing was taken.
CCTV from the centre is being used as part of the investigation. But police today arrested a 16-year-old boy from Folkestone on suspicion of burglary.
He has been released on conditional bail until May 13 on the grounds he does not go to the sports centre.

He is described as 6ft tall and of slight build and was wearing a grey or blue zipped hooded top, dark brown chino trousers, dark trainers with a dark blue satchel.
