A teenage boy was hit by a car in Earls Avenue, Folkestone, this morning.

The cyclist suffered injuries after the collision around 7.30am.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene and the road was partially closed for about an hour.

The boy only suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
