Police investigating a sexual assault have issued this e-fit

A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted in Folkestone.

Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack on the 16-year-old.

She was walking along the footpath in Grace Hill, Folkestone, when a man thought to be in his late 30s approached her and tried to kiss her.

After a struggle the girl managed to get free and run home to safety. She suffered a black eye after the attacker slapped her.

The offender is described as 5ft 5in with dark scruffy straight hair. He was wearing a black fitted waist-length leather jacket, dark blue jeans and white Reebok Classic trainers.

The attack took place between 11pm and 11.30pm on Monday, June 9.
