The closure of a busy tunnel has caused gridlock during rush hour.

Traffic has been queueing along the M20 Eastbound following the closure of Roundhill Tunnel at J12 A20 Ashford Road.

The tunnel reopened at 6pm but traffic is still busy. The ambulance service and police were spotted on the scene.

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
