Two cars involved in crash on White Horse Hill in Hawkinge near Folkestone as Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service called

A woman suffered minor injuries after two cars were involved in a crash during yesterday evening's rush hour.

Fire crews, police and paramedics were called to the scene at on White Horse Hill in Hawkinge shortly after 6pm on Tuesday evening.

The woman in her 20s only suffered minor injuries however.

A police spokesman confirmed the collision involved a Toyota Aygo and a Peugeot 206

A Folkestone Fire Station spokesman said: "We just made the cars safe. A woman was being treated for minor injuries. They were taken into the care of the ambulance."
