A PLAYGROUP in a Kent seaside town is counting the cost after being targeted by vandals.

Staff arriving at Morehall Playgroup in Folkestone on Monday were shocked to discover the destruction, thought to have taken place sometime since July 24.

In addition to 12 windows being smashed outside, extensive damage was caused when paint was thrown everywhere inside. Computers were also stolen.

A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has any information on the people who did this.

"They must have had paint all over them and been quite messy so there must be someone who knows who they are."
