An investigation has been launched after a dozen vehicles were damaged overnight in Folkestone.
Windows were smashed and tyres left slashed after the vehicles were targeted overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
Clare Jones, of Somerset Road, woke up yesterday to find her windscreen had been damaged, along with several other cars in her road.
The incident was one of 12 reported in the town.
Mrs Jones said: "I didn't hear anything, so it must have been overnight when we were sleeping.
"There were three or four cars damaged on the road, including mine."
Police confirmed officers are investigating a dozen reports of criminal damage caused to cars parked in Cherry Garden Lane, Stanley Road, Shaftesbury Avenue, Somerset Road and Bradstone Avenue.
In nearly all cases the windows have been smashed.
One car in Bradstone Avenue was found with slashed tyres.
Inspector Julien Lawton from the community safety unit said: "While we carry out inquiries in the area to locate the person responsible we would urge people to be vigilant.
"I would ask any residents or businesses in that area with CCTV to check the footage from overnight and let us know about anything that is suspicious or out of the ordinary.
"Also, anyone whose car has been damaged and has not yet reported it to us should call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/143128/19 as soon as possible."
