POLICE are advising parents to ensure their children are reminded about not talking to strangers following two incidents in a Kent town in the past few days.
On both occasions a suspicious-looking man driving a silver car, possibly a Peugeot 306, has approached children in the Canterbury Road and Dover Road areas of Folkestone.
He is described as a black man of thin build with a long face, hair lip, and stubbly type hair.
Police spokesman Jon Green said: "Details of the man have been circulated to patrol officers who will be paying extra attention in the area."
No children have been harmed but police are advising parents to remind their children about the suspicious stranger danger message they would have learned at school:
* Never go with a stranger
* Never get in a car with a stranger
* Never take things from a stranger
* Never go off on your own and keep with other children
* Never be afraid to say NO!
Remember, if you are frightened by a stranger run home and tell your Mum or Dad. If you cannot run home tell someone you can trust.
You can trust a policeman or policewomen, your teacher, or a grown-up you know well.
