POLICE investigating a street robbery in Folkestone on Friday, December 2, have now made an appeal for witnesses.

A 17-year-old man was walking in Cherry Garden Lane between 11.30pm and midnight with a friend when he was approached by a group of male youths. He was assaulted and had his Ipod and mobile phone stolen.

Police enquiries have led to several arrests in connection with this incident and officers are making further enquiries.

They would like to speak to anyone who may have been passing and witnessed the robbery.
