A woman who was found dead in the basement of her house has been named as Carol Driscoll.
There was a huge emergency services response in London Place, off Tram Road in Folkestone, last month.
Police officers joined paramedics at the scene following reports of a 'medical incident'.
The air ambulance also attended, while forensic officers were called to the property.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, Ms Driscoll was tragically declared dead at the scene.
An inquest into the 66-year-old store assistant's death was opened on Friday.
The coroner heard that Ms Driscoll had been found at 1.25pm on Thursday, October 20, in her basement. Her cause of death was given as hanging.

The inquest was opened and adjourned pending further enquiries.
At the time, police said her death was not being treated as suspicious.
