Woman comes off motorcycle in Newington near Folkestone, air ambulance called

A woman has been taken to hospital after a motorcycle accident.

The air ambulance was called out to help.

The incident happened at Newington, just outside Folkestone, this afternoon (Saturday).

Kent Police were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 1.30pm to help with traffic control after the rider had come off her bike.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was called out but it is understood that the victim was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

She was taken to the William Harvey in Ashford with non-life threatening injuries.
