A woman driver was hurt after her car crashed into a tree last night.

It happened at Cherry Garden Avenue, Folkestone, at 9.10pm.

Paramedics got her out of the vehicle on a spinal board and took her to hospital as a precaution. Emergency services say she was not thought to be badly injured.

One fire engine from the Folkestone station was called and firefighters helped paramedics and made the scene safe.
