Neil Cugley hopes his Folkestone players are able to relax a bit more during their Kent Senior Cup quarter-final against Ebbsfleet.

Out-of-form Isthmian Premier outfit Invicta tonight will welcome the National League South promotion-chasers to Cheriton Road as they eye a spot in the final four of the county competition.

Folkestone boss Cugley, whose team are on a five-match losing run and winless in six, is expecting a tough match but knows what a much-needed victory could do for his troops.

He said: “We don’t really know what side they will bring, but they are full-time. Whoever they play will be good players.

“We will make some changes but not lots. It’s a game where people should be able to relax a little bit.

“When you are having a bad run, you want to win - no matter what competition it’s in.

"Fingers crossed we can do that.”

Invicta have knocked out Isthmian South East VCD to get to this stage of the competition, beating them 3-2 on penalties after a goalless draw, while Ebbsfleet saw off National League Bromley 7-6 on penalties in February after a 1-1 stalemate.

Teenage striker Tyler Sterling is cup-tied having played for Hythe in the Kent Senior Cup earlier in the season.

Reduced entry prices for the fixture will be £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for children.

If the tie remains level after 90 minutes, it will go straight to a penalty shoot-out.
