Folkestone Invicta boss Neil Cugley pleased as former Sittingbourne striker Connor Coyne signs a contract

Connor Coyne has signed a contract with Folkestone Invicta after turning down offers from rival clubs.
The former Sittingbourne striker made 11 appearances for Neil Cugley’s side last season – 10 as a substitute – and he’s set for a more prominent role in 2014-15.
Invicta boss Cugley said: "Connor’s a big, strong boy and gives us something different.
"A lot of clubs have been phoning him up, trying to get him but he’s a Folkestone lad and we didn’t want to lose him.
"He played against Guernsey at the end of last season when they had their full-strength team out. He’s 6ft 1in and got a good touch for a big lad."
Cugley has, however, missed out on the versatile defender/midfielder he was hoping to sign last week, with budgetary constraints ending his hopes of doing the deal.
