Folkestone could be missing a host of players for their FA Cup third qualifying round tie at North Leigh on Saturday.

New signings Joe Taylor and Anthony O’Connor are cup-tied, Ronnie Dolan completes a three-match ban, while Nat Blanks is facing a month out after breaking his foot at Dulwich Hamlet.

They could be joined on the sidelines by top scorer Ian Draycott, Phil Starkey and Sam Beale, all of whom missed the 1-0 defeat at Billericay on Tuesday.

Such was manager Neil Cugley's plight at Billericay he was forced to name untried under-18s Trinhallen Brisley and Liam Jolley along with assistant boss Roland Edge and standby keeper Dan Brabham on the bench, while 16-year-old striker Euan Sahadow started with the problem No.3 shirt.

North Leigh are fifth in Southern League Division 1 South and West, a level below Folkestone.

They are dangerous opponents, having upset National South side Weston in the last round.
There’s £7,500 in prize money on offer – and a place in the final qualifying round.

Invicta boss Neil Cugley said: “We’ve got a few problems but I’m hoping other players might be able to start showing what they can do.

“Anyone who’s beaten Weston are going to be a good side and we will give North Leigh the respect they deserve. We’ve raised £7,500 from the last two rounds, which we weren’t budgeting for and it would be great to get another win.

“You dream of making the first round and one team, somewhere at our level, will get there and why can’t that be us?”

In the event of a draw, the replay will be at Cheriton Road on Tuesday (7.45pm). Currently, Invicta are scheduled to play Thamesmead in the first round of the Kent Senior Cup that night.
