Folkestone and Margate lock horns again - three days on from an FA Cup cracker.

The Kent rivals drew 2-2 in a Second Qualifying Round tie at Hartsdown Park on Saturday.

Invicta led twice - Ibrahim Olutade and Ira Jackson with the goals - but Steve Cawley and an injury-time Antonis Vasiliou strike - forced a replay.

Folkestone joint-manager Micheal Everitt hopes to see a big crowd at Cheriton Road tonight.

The winners of the replay will travel to Chesham in the Third Qualifying Round on September 30.

“I expect the ground to be absolutely packed and our fans will get behind us,” said Everitt.

“We can get a positive result because that was a positive performance in the first game.

“I thought, overall, it was a cracking cup tie.

“To score late on (Jackson made it 2-1 with four minutes remaining) and concede at the end was a bit gutting but I know our lads - we’ll be ready for Tuesday.”

Margate were up against 10 men for most of the second half on Saturday following Ryan Khanye’s red card.

They didn’t make it count but there was no shortage of entertainment in front of almost 700 fans.

“Hopefully it’ll be the same sort of game,” said Margate boss Reece Prestedge.

“It was a good game to be a part of and, of course, you want to be the team that comes out on top.

“We’ve just got to pick ourselves up and go again on Tuesday now.

“I always like a Tuesday game, back at a team in the same league. It just keeps your momentum going.

“We’ve not lost in three games now. Hopefully we can take that into Tuesday and be unbeaten in four.”
