Optimists go down again

Folkestone Optimists Hockey Club's losing streak continued with a 3-0 home defeat to Eastbourne on Saturday.
After falling behind early on, the Optimists problems worsened when they had a player sin binned and Eastbourne took advantage to score a seocnd before half-time.
Folkestone made the better start to the second half but were unable to find a way through the Sussex defence, and Eastbourne then made it 3-0 with a goal from a short corner.
The Optimists man of the match was goalkeeper Danny Payne, whose fine saves ensured they did not lose by a bigger margin.
