Hythe Town boss Scott Porter short on attacking options but pleased with Shaun Welford's form in front of goal

Hythe striker Shaun Welford may be in red-hot form but manager Scott Porter is faced with a goalscoring conundrum.
Welford has scored 11 goals in as many games, accounting for more than half of the team’s tally during that time.
Hythe captain Dave Cook, so prolific in recent seasons, is still trying to shake off a knee injury and the departure of Craig Thompson to Whitstable, followed by Ashley Miller’s decision not to extend his loan from Gillingham, means Porter is somewhat short of options.
He said: "It is disappointing. Dave Cook won the Golden Boot last year but he’s struggled with injuries and he’s still not fully-fit.
"Cooky’s trying to come back and he should only be playing 60 or 70 minutes but I’ve had to keep him on.
"We lost Ashley Miller, Thommo went and it’s been difficult to bring someone in. But we seem to play better with Shaun up top and runners in behind."
Hythe are away to Tooting & Mitcham United on Saturday.
