KM Group photographer Barry Goodwin captured all the action as Dartford Harriers’ Barry Stephenson was once again best of the rest at the Folkestone 10-mile race.

Beaten to victory by Dean Lacy last year, Josh Carr this time prevented a Stephenson win by 10 seconds with the Cambridge & Coleridge runner home in 53min12sec.

The race, now in its 40th year, takes in the promenade from Hythe to Folkestone and back again, but windy conditions saw the winning time more than a minute and a half slower than in 2023.

Tonbridge AC’s Daniel Bradley completed the top three in 54.10.

Maidstone Harriers’ Charlotte Johnston did go one better, however, taking the ladies’ honours in 1hr05min07sec in 51st overall. Emma Stevens of Petts Wood Runners was second lady (1:06.07) and Emma Elston (1:06.26) finished third.
