Wesley Shrubsole angling: The Folkestone harbour arm is back open and conger eels are being caught at Samphire Hoe

There’s great news for anglers who like pier fishing.

Folkestone harbour arm is back to open but there is a limit to the amount of anglers.

Rod Otto caught this conger eel from Samphire Hoe

Give Folkestone angling a call on 01303 253881 for more information on fishing from this location.

Rod Otto caught this conger eel from Samphire Hoe and with Folkestone pier open the chance of one of these "big wrigglers" is very good indeed.

Fish to over 50lbs have come from this venue so strong tackle is needed! Down the wall with a pouting or whiting livebait may just put you in a tug of war with one of these monsters from the deep! Good luck!

If you've got a catch worth showing off you can email wesleyshrubsole@gmail.com
