A performance artist is celebrating Donald Trump's birthday tomorrow by getting an intimate piercing and urinating on a picture of the US president.
Mexico-born Emilio Rojas will be putting on 'America's Golden Boy' in the ] performance s p a c e [ gallery on Tontine Street, Folkestone, at 8.30pm.
The internationally-displayed artist is getting a Prince Albert piercing, with the inserted ring being made from a modified memorial presidential golden coin bearing President Trump's face.
Mr Rojas is inviting other men with the body modification to take and wear a coin ring - made by Leah Gaynor at the Folkestone-based Hiraeth Creative - before joining him in urinating on the picture.
]performance s p a c e [ is Arts Council-funded and has worked closely with Mr Rojas, who is currently serving as their artist-in-residence.
Marking the controversial politician's birthday, the concept arose from an allegation that Russia holds a video of President Trump in a compromising situation.
The picture's defacing will be held in the gallery and is open to the public, but Emilio Rojas has asked that attendees wear gold "since he (Trump) likes to surround himself with gold."
Visitors can arrive for the alternative birthday party from 8pm, where they can enjoy cake with gold on it, drinks and music from Miss Dolly Poppers.
