Neil Cugley insists Folkestone will travel to Hendon without fear in the Bostik Premier play-offs tomorrow night (Thursday).
Invicta looked set to have home advantage in the semi-final when Joe Taylor scored an 89th-minute goal at Billericay on Saturday.
But the champions grabbed a last-gasp equaliser and that allowed Hendon to leapfrog them into third position.
Cugley said: "Our away record is really good this year and that's one reason we've done so well in the league.
"Going away doesn't frighten us and sometimes when you're at home, maybe the pressure gets to you a little bit more.
"We can go a bit more relaxed maybe."
Folkestone were the league's surprise package having only escaped relegation on the final day of last season.
They won 25 games, scored 104 goals and finished with 85 points en route to their highest ever finish in the Isthmian League.
Cugley said: "Anybody can do it with a lot of money but we've never had money to throw at it.
"In fact, the wages were even less than last season so all credit to everybody involved within our club.
"We didn't expect to be up there but we are and congratulations to the players for getting us there."
Johan ter Horst, Ian Draycott and Nat Blanks are all injury doubts for the game at Hendon, which kicks off at 7.30pm, while Scott Heard is definitely out.
Cugley said: "You name those four players a little while ago and you'd have though we'd have no chance (without them) but with how we've done, we've got four quality players maybe not available and I still think we've got a good team.
"I'm sure we'll give it a go. The players have been brilliant so let's see if we can get over the line. They've achieved a lot more than any of us expected."
