Promotion-chasing Folkestone have been told to seize the moment in the final three months of the season.
Invicta are fourth in Bostik Premier, scoring goals for fun and playing with no fear against bigger and more established clubs.
They’ve defied the odds to get in this position and boss Neil Cugley wants his players to give everything to stay in the top five.
He said: “Every game now is brilliant. That’s what I do my job for and hopefully that’s what the players want to be involved in football for because every game is now going to be important over the next 12 weeks.
“We’ve got a Kent Senior Cup semi-final in there as well, 10 games at home and only seven away so I don’t think we could ask for any more.
“It’s a brilliant time. I’m excited and looking forward to the challenge. There’s a lot of clubs playing for nothing now and there will be more and more over the next few weeks.
“We don’t want to be one of them, we want to be going for it. It’s great, I love it.
“I’ve been lucky, in my years of management, that I’ve always been going for something or trying to make sure we don’t go down.
“It should be an entertaining time and let’s hope the fans get behind us and get us over the line. Bring it on.”
Folkestone have netted 23 goals in their last nine matches and 63 in total - more than two per game.
They led 3-0 at Hendon on Saturday but ended up drawing 3-3.
Cugley said: “It’s easy to say ‘you’ve got to tighten up’ but we went to Lowestoft and didn’t let any goals in.
“When you’re playing that way, you’ve got to accept you will concede chances. I think it’s better than going to Hendon and drawing 0-0 personally.
“There’s goals in us and we’re an exciting team. I’m disappointed when we let goals in but the hardest thing in football is to score goals and we can do that.
“I don’t think our fans can be disappointed in what we’ve brought to them this season.
“All fans want to win every single game but we play good, attacking football and I hope people are pleased with that.”
Folkestone have signed Jerald Aboagye from Hythe Town while fellow right-back Ryan Cooper has been released.
Aboagye is set for his debut at home to Brightlingsea on Saturday, while Ronnie Dolan returns from a dual-registration spell at Whitstable to replace Scott Heard, who could be out for several weeks with a knee injury.
Folkestone will host Gillingham in a friendly on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
