Folkestone boss Neil Cugley is looking forward to coming up against Cray Wanderers’ management team tonight.
After a 10-day break, Invicta will welcome the Wands to Cheriton Road for the Isthmian Premier fixture.
Both teams were without weekend matches, with all football games postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, although Neil Smith’s Cray Wanderers were beaten 4-0 at home by league rivals Bognor on Wednesday in their FA Cup replay.
But Cugley is expecting a tough test against the seventh-placed team.
He said: “We know a bit about them, we have had good reports on them.
“I know they lost to Bognor in their FA Cup replay but, apart from that, they have had a good start. I know Neil Smith and Tim O’Shea [his assistant] well. I’m looking forward to seeing them and I’m sure they will do well. It’ll be a tough game.”
Ex-Gillingham midfielder Smith, formerly manager of Bromley in the National League, took charge of Cray in March, signing a two-year deal to stay in a full-time role two months later.
