Harry Smith and Ronnie Dolan have played their way into the Folkestone team for Saturday’s trip to relegation-threatened Chipstead.
The pair came off the bench at half-time on Saturday to help Invicta recover from a goal down to beat Walton Casuals 2-1 at the Fullicks Stadium.
That win – Folkestone’s ninth in 11 outings and seventh in a row at home – kept them 13 points clear at the top of Ryman League Division 1 South.
Smith scored the winner and Dolan "ran the show" in the words of his manager Neil Cugley.
"There’s two names on the team sheet straight away," Cugley said.
"Harry Smith will definitely start because he was outstanding. Dolan will start and we’ll worry about the others around them.
"Ashley Miller has buckled down and done well but he doesn’t get enough goals. He’s playing well, working hard and getting better but want him to get a few more goals.
"Jon Pilbeam came on last week and did well but on Saturday he didn’t do much at all. I’m looking for a bit more consistency from them.
"They are still quite young and I forget that sometimes. Miller’s only 21, Ronnie’s in his early 20s, Smith’s 20, Scott Heard’s 22 and Jordan Wright’s 21.
"They are young people and still learning their trade, where the more consistent ones are 26 or 27. I would like a little bit more consistency and to score a few more goals."
