THE world stars of Lashings Cricket Club are to play an Old Kent XI at Folkestone to raise funds to help restore Hythe’s 100-year-old cricket pavilion and clubhouse which was destroyed by fire earlier this year.

The match will take place at Cheriton Road on Friday, August 27. The start will be at 4pm.

The game will be preceded by a colts game and corporate match.
