Folkestone Invicta are up to fourth in Ryman League Division 1 South after claiming a 2-2 draw away to Whitstable Town on Tuesday night.
The visitors struck first through Paul Booth but the sides went in all square at The Belmont after Tom Loynes equalised for Whitstable.
Folkestone manager Neil Cugley was sent to the stands for something he said to the officials and his side fell behind to a Kane Rowland strike seven minutes into the second half.
But a second Booth goal, just after the hour, ensured the spoils were shared.
The result leaves Whitstable eighth, two points outside the play-offs.
It was a similar story at Reachfields, where 10-man Hythe Town drew 2-2 with Ramsgate.
Tim Dixon's side fell behind to a Tom Ripley strike inside two minutes but goals from Josh Burchell and Michael Yianni turned the game on its head and had the Cannons 2-1 up.
However, the hosts had Craig Thompson sent-off six minutes before half-time and had to play the whole of the second half with a man less.
Scott Punton got the Rams back on level terms four minutes after the restart but they couldn't find a winning goal.
They're 13th while Hythe are 21st, one point above the relegation zone.
Sittingbourne crashed to a 4-0 defeat at home to unbeaten league leaders Burgess Hill Town.
Pat Harding netted twice at Woodstock Park and there were also goals for Sam Fisk and Dan Perry as the Brickies dropped below Folkestone - who have played two games less.
