Ade Yusuff will lead Folkestone's attack again next season whichever league they're in.
Yusuff's 30 goals in all competitions have been key to Invicta's successful campaign and the striker has now signed a new contract at the Fullicks Stadium.
Having joined the club last summer he may end up playing in National League South if Folkestone go up through the play-offs.
Yusuff earned a move from Chatham to Dagenham in 2014 but has rarely played better than he is now.
Manager Neil Cugley said: "People forget he's only 23. He's still a very young man and if he can learn to pick out a pass or make a final option better, there's no reason he couldn't play a lot higher.
"He's a strong lad and yes, sometimes he's a bit moody or picks the wrong pass but if he can learn that...
"We accept that at our standard but they wouldn't higher up. That's all he's got to improve on and there's no reason why he couldn't kick on. He's a good lad as well."
Goalkeeper Tim Roberts has also signed on for next season, having played 261 games since joining the club almost five years ago.
Cugley said: "He's cost us a couple of goals but you look back and there's not many he could have done better with.
"They're two important areas, your leading goalscorer and your goal stopper.
"I'm pleased with them, they deserve it and hopefully most of the players will stay.
"We're trying to get it done quite early and if they're not going to stay, at least we can look a little bit quicker than we did last year.
"You want to know you've got the majority of your team with you.
"Some are looking to see which league we're in - not financially, because it won't make any difference to our club - but the travelling and their lifestyle. That's fair enough. I've got no problem with that."
Reserve keeper Nick Shaw has also agreed to stay next season, joining striker Johan ter Horst and defender Callum Davies in the 2018/19 squad alongside Yusuff and Roberts.
