Ronnie Dolan is the latest player to commit his future to Folkestone Invicta.
The midfielder is recovering from ankle surgery having missed a large chunk of last season through injury.
But Dolan expects to be fit in time for the start of the new campaign and boss Neil Cugley is thrilled to have him back on board.
He said: "His operation went really well and he's talking very positively.
"He's got another month before we start training so we hope he'll be doing something by then and then easing him into the pre-season games.
"He was excellent last year and it was a great shame when he picked up his injury.
"He's a quality player, a class player and really popular with the other lads.
"He lives in Hastings, very near the ground and I think that maybe if they'd gone up, he might have thought of not staying.
"We're pleased to re-sign him with his quality on the ball. With people like Heard, Hasler and Draycott in there, you've got nice competition for places.
"We've got the defence sorted out but obviously we are looking to bring in another forward."
