A run of four straight away defeats means Hythe Town are under pressure to take maximum points at home to struggling Eastbourne Town on Saturday.
Hythe were hammered 4-0 at Peacehaven & Telscombe last weekend, on a day when almost all of Scott Porter’s players under-performed.
And with the bottom side in Ryman League Division 1 South the next visitors to Reachfields, the Hythe boss is anxious to respond in style.
Porter said: "There’s pressure on Saturday because we’re playing the team bottom of the league and we’re trying to come back from a 4-0 defeat.
"The pressure’s on us to get a result because we need to get back up the table. We were eighth but we’ve dropped to 12th because lots of teams are beating each other.
"We’ve got to put a good run together now."
Dave Cook and Josh Burchell are both fit and available for the game.
