Folkestone's forwards have been challenged to find their scoring boots after a barren three weeks.
Invicta have scored just twice in their last four games, during which time they've fallen six points behind Bostik Premier leaders Tonbridge.
They've also gone out of the FA Cup but remain well-placed among the chasing pack in the league.
Neil Cugley's side are one of four level on points in the play-off positions and they certainly have quality personnel in attack.
Cugley said: "With Johan ter Horst, Ian Draycott, Ade Yusuff, Kieron McCann and Alfie Paxman, they're good enough to do it, we just need them to start firing and I think we'll be OK.
"We've not played as well as we can yet but we're joint second in the league so that can't be too bad.
"We've defended well in the last few games. Sometimes they get the criticism but now we need the forwards to get going."
Draycott is one player Folkestone need on form if they are to challenge for promotion.
The striker is just 20 short of the club's all-time record if 141 goals but has struggled for goals in recent months.
Cugley said: "He got put back in last weekend because he's trained hard and deserved his chance. It's up to him now.
"I don't think he's scored since March which is a long time to go without a goal. If you're a forward, it's about how many goals you can get."
Yusuff was on target in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Burgess Hill, having earlier missed a penalty.
Folkeston, who don't play again in the league until September 29, have arranged a friendly at Herne Bay on Saturday.
"It was a game we should have won comfortably," Cugley said.
"They broke away from a corner to score which I don't like to see because we talked about those things before. It was disappointing to let them back in that way but we're all right.
"Not having a game on Saturday is a bit of a blow but Herne Bay haven't got a game either so we'll keep ticking along.
"People want to be playing at this time of year and hopefully the forwards will score a few goals to give them confidence for when we play Brightlingsea.
"Who knows? If we win that one, we might be second in the league."
Sam Hasler has a stomach problem while Nat Blanks will be out for around six weeks following ankle surgery.
