FOLKESTONE Invicta's final home game of the season ended in stalemate as Neil Cugley's already relegated side held a Halesowen side desperate to avoid the drop.

Invicta were twice ahead, but faced a second half onslaught from a visiting side whose Premier Division survival largely depended on this game.

The first half was a story of two penalties. Invicta opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Martin Chandler scored

from the post for the second successive Saturday when Gavin Stone nudged Blackman.

If that seemed harsh, then things were soon evened when Halesowen were awarded a penalty when Micheal Everitt was judged to have pulled Michael Blackwood's shirt.

Munden got down to his left to save Hines' penalty, but the Halesowen man was there to equalise from the rebound.

Invicta restored their lead after 37 minutes when James Millar found the net after Ayling slid the ball through to him.

But the visitors raised their game after the interval as they realised that they had to do more to retrieve their perilous situation. It was 2-2 after 53 minutes when a weak headed back pass from Anthony Henry allowed Jason Ashby to go round Munden and bring his side level again.

Folkestone Invicta complete their season away to Hednesford Town on Saturday.
