Tough first home test for Invicta

Folkestone Invicta v Billericay Town

FOLKESTONE Invicta play their opening home game of the season tonight against Billericay Town.

After a 4-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon in their first Ryman League Premier Division match on Saturday, this promises to be another tough contest against a side managed by former Tottenham defender Justin Edinburgh.

The Essex club finished second in the table last season but were beaten in the semi-finals of the play-offs by Leyton.

However, Invicta did not concede a goal against Billericay in two tight matches last season as they drew 0-0 at New Lodge in September before triumphing 1-0 at home in January thanks to a first-half goal from Simon Glover.
