With sport on the North Kent coast the best it has been in a long time local angler Stevie Bates felt confident of a few fish.

Double figure rays, smoothounds and multiple catches have become the norm.

The rays and hounds did not want to play for Stevie but he had a super session with multiple bass, including a personal best of 6lbs 7oz, all on the “going” bait peeler crab. Very well done and it was great to hear all the bass were returned.
