A car mysteriously caught alight while sitting in a drive way in Sole Street, Cobham

A car caught light in a village driveway in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters attended the incident in Sole Street, Cobham, where the bonnet of a Mercedes CL was on fire.

Two crews from Thames-side station dealt with the blaze at 1.32am.

No one was hurt and the cause is being investigated.
