KENT actress Gemma Arterton has revealed she will share some steamy screen time with 007 in the new James Bond film.
Producers of the 22nd Bond film unveiled its official title - Quantum of Solace - at a press conference yesterday, and gave the world a glimpse of the super-spy's next adventure.
Gravesend-born and bred Gemma, 21, will appear as an M16 agent and has already shot a love scene with star Daniel Craig.
She said at yesterday's event: "I felt like a giggly girl, and I felt so young and inexperienced - but I kissed James Bond!"
Gemma recently starred in the St Trinian's film, and said Bond girl is "fresh and young, not sultry and a femme fatale". Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko will be the film's main Bond girl, Camille.
The wordy title was unveiled for the first time yesterday and is taken from a collection of short stories by Bond creator Ian Fleming, who had a house in St Margaret's Bay near Dover.
The plot will follow on directly from the end of Casino Royale, with Bond heartbroken following the death of traitorous lover Vesper Lynd and driven by revenge
Actor Daniel Craig said yesterday: "Ian Fleming had written about relationships.
"When they go wrong, when there's nothing left, when the spark has gone, when the fire's gone out, there's no quantum of solace.
"And at the end of the last movie, Bond has the love of his life taken away from him and he never got that quantum of solace."
He added: "But the title also alludes to something else in the film."
The film is scheduled for released on November 7.
