A man was cut free from his car after it crashed into the sea wall in Northfleet, this afternoon.

The air ambulance, paramedics and police were also called to the scene in Lower Road, following the crash at about 1.20pm.

Fire crews stabilised the vehicle and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man, who was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved.
