A helicopter for the Air Ambulance has been spotted landing on a college field.

The chopper was seen just before 12.30pm landing at Northfleet College, in Colyer Road, Gravesend.

Crews flew out to the site to reports of an injury in the nearby sports hall.

The patient was able to be discharged after being checked over by the air ambulance doctor.

Meg Bridge, 20, of Colyer Road, Northfleet, witnessed the helicopter landing.

She said: "We saw the helicopter landing in the field then the men ran over towards the college and there was an ambulance in the college car park."
