Ebbsfleet spurned a two-goal lead as they clung on for a hard fought draw away to Alfreton Town.
Liam Enver-Marum put Liam Daish’s side into a fifth minute lead when he latched on to a throw-in from the right before turning in the area and shooting into the bottom right hand corner.
Calum Willock (pictured) looked set to double their lead when he went through on goal midway through the first half, but Alfreton keeper Dan Lowson brought him down on the edge of the area and escaped with just a booking.
Willock was not to be denied for long, though, when his bullet header on the stroke of half-time put Fleet 2-0 ahead from Lanre Azeez’s corner.
The hosts turned the game around after the break, pulling a goal back on 49 minutes through Anton Brown, who glanced substitute Andy Holdsworth’s corner past Preston Edwards.
Continued Alfreton pressure saw them equalise on 64 minutes when Nathan Jarman slammed home a loose ball in the area after Holdsworth’s free-kick was only half cleared.
The draw leaves Ebbsfleet third from bottom in Blue Square Premier, still with only one win to show for from this season.
