Police and air ambulance called to Napier Road, Gravesend

The emergency services were called out to road this morning and the Kent Air Ambulance landed nearby.

The emergency services were called out to Napier Road, at about 7.20am and the emergency helicopter landed on a nearby open space.

It is not clear at this stage if someone has been airlifted to hospital, but police were called to assist paramedics with a medical emergency.

The incident happened in Napier Road Gravesend

One woman who saw the aircraft land but didn't want to be named, said: "The air ambulance landed nearby and police arrived with their sirens on."

Vicki Foster spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called to assist with a medical incident in Napier Road, Gravesend, at 8.13am.
