Police appeal after ram raid at The Little Shop in Cobham

Police are appealing for information after a 4x4 vehicle was driven into a village shop in an attempted burglary.

Officers were called to reports a vehicle had collided with The Little Shop in Sole Street, Cobham.

A black Toyota 4x4 was reported to have driven into the front of the shop several times in an attempt to break into the store.

Following a search, the suspected vehicle was recovered in Exedown Road, Sevenoaks.

It happened at 11.45pm on Monday.

Investigating officers believe it could be linked to damage caused to several cars in Neal Road and London Road, West Kingsdown, reported to have been caused in the early hours of Tuesday.

A fundraising page was set up by residents to raise £500 for the owners Doug and Renna, however, the pair asked that any money donating be given to charity.
