Suspected imitation firearms found after armed police descend on North Star Boulevard in Greenhithe

A man has been arrested after police discovered suspected imitation firearms at a block of flats.

Armed officers and forensics were in North Star Boulevard in Greenhithe until 2pm after being called to the address in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “A 36-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody in connection with alleged threats with a weapon.

“Officers remain at the scene and have seized several items, including a number of suspected imitation firearms.”
