Natwest bank in Gravesend was evacuated this afternoon after the building was filled with smoke from a nearby rubbish fire.
Crews were called to the bank in King Street, at around 2.30pm, and extinguished a fire in yard behind the building.
They then used positive pressure ventilation equipment to clear smoke from the bank.
Two crews attended and were on the scene for approximately an hour.
It is not known how the fire started.
